In the third quarter of 2025, the top communication apps on the Android platform in Israel showed varying performance trends according to data from Sensor Tower.

Messenger from Meta Platforms, Inc. experienced a significant increase in weekly revenue, reaching a peak of approximately $178 in the week of September 22. Weekly downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 11.4K in late June and then declining to about 6.9K by the end of September. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering around 1.8M throughout the quarter.

WhatsApp Messenger, by WhatsApp LLC, maintained a consistent download rate, with weekly downloads reaching up to 10.7K in early July and stabilizing around 8.4K by the end of September. Active users showed a slight upward trend, increasing from approximately 5.3M to 5.4M over the period.

Snapchat, from Snap Inc, saw its weekly revenue fluctuate, peaking at roughly $1.7K in mid-September. Downloads decreased over the quarter, starting at 9K and dropping to around 6.9K. The active user base also saw a decline from about 475K to 456K.

Downloads showed some variability, starting at 7K and settling around 6K by the quarter's end. Active users saw a slight decline, ending the period with approximately 530K users.
